Nandrolone is by far one of the most popular anabolic steroids available. This is due to the compound's affinity for being highly anabolic but relatively mild in terms of androgenic side effects. By attaching the phenylpropionate ester to the nandrolone base, the compound offers all of the advantages of nandrolone while also allowing it to reach blood concentration levels much more quickly than with the more popular decanoate ester.

Durobolic - Nandrolone Phenylpropionate is a progestin, like any Nandrolone derivative, and is made by removing the carbon atom at the 19th position of the Steran Nucleus of testosterone. Nandrolone, probably owing to its progestenic nature has the ability to improve collagen synthesis as well as bone mineral content. Clearly this would be a huge benefit to athletes with connective tissue problems or other joint issues, although drug-tested athletes need to avoid Nandrolones because of their detectability in urine for a year to eighteen months after administration. Also, since it is progestin (with slight estrogenic ability), it probably has some very beneficial effects on the immune mediated anti-inflammatory process, thereby soothing joints as well as helping to heal them.

Durobolic is one of the safest non-toxic steroids offering satisfactory results. Durobolic has no negative effect on the liver function so it can even be taken in cases of liver disease. Side effects occur only in rare cases and in persons who are extremely sensitive. Virilization symptoms in women such as huskiness, deep voice, hirsutism, acne, and increased libido are possible but occur only rarely if reasonable dosages are taken at reasonable intervals. Men usually experience no symptoms with Durobolic. Since the release of gonadotropins in the hypophysis is inhibited, there is a chance that the body's own testosterone production in a male athlete will be lower when the compound is taken over a prolonged time and in excessive doses.
